Are you reaching your full potential at work? Most in America say no.

How do we know? In a national survey, the question was posed: “what percent of your potential are you using at work?” The average answer: 40%.

40%! Sad. abhorable, really. That means 60% for those 60 + hours of indentured servitude are not being optimized!

The same survey reported the most common reasons folks weren’t going whole hog at work were: 1.) Fear of failure, 2.) Fear of success 3.) Lack of confidence 4.) High self-doubt and 5.) Lack of seeing themselves succeed.

Enter the employer… trying to use band-aids (ie. the newest, cutest self-help book), annual evaluations, fear and intimidation and/or carrot and stick tactics to get you going. Good chance these won’t lead to long-term solutions, a great work experience or a fun life.
